Basic Pre-Master Information
Rogues are a very versatile path in Temuair. Rogues jobs tend to change a lot as they advance in their insights. At low insights a rogue's main hunting method is by using their traps. Once they can tell elements and use Great Blind Snare they can join in on hunts as a blinder, and can tell elements for the bashers. Once they master, and then become Archers their jobs in a hunt will be different again. Rogues are the only class that have access to the Black Market, a special bank and shop for Iron Gauntlets, Jade Rings, Spinel Rings, Emerald Rings, Scrolls and other gear. Rouges can also smith gems, daggers, and soori's as well as tailoring armors.

Black Market
The Black Market is a building that only rogues can enter. The Black Market is located in the center of Rucesion and houses a banker and the following goods.

Smithing
Smithed Blades and Soori's can be one of the greatest assets to a fighter or rogue who wants to hunt light. With a lighter blade you can hold greater armor, also smithed weapons increase the damage that is done. Rogues can smith two types of weapons, 1 Handed Blades, and Soori's/Daggers. There are four grades of smithing, the first is a 'good' smith, next being 'fine,' then 'grand' and the best being a 'great' smith. For each degree a blade gets it will be harder to use (higher insight requirement, deal more damage, increase the value, and be lighter to wield. You also gain small amounts of experience points by smithing weapons.

The more blades and sooris that you smith the better you will become, When you smith a good weapon you get 1 point, fine, 2 points etc. Once you achieve 50 points from blade smithing you earn the legend mark 'Blade Smith (1)' and it can go to 'Blade Smith (10)' Having an assistant increases you chances of making a better weapon. There is also always a chance of not improving the weapon and even breaking it.

This brings us to the other type of smithing. Rogues also have the ability to smith gems, and are the only class that can do so. Smithing gems mostly have the purpose of getting spells, many priest and wizard spells require Uncut or Finished gems. Some other uses for gems are making Insight 97 Armor (Need 25 Finished Talos), Selling smithed gems, Giving Finished gems to the mundanes in Pravat for experience. Gem Smith can only go to Gem Smith (10) as well, when you smith with a partner, gems never break. It will take a few times to smith a gem to finished, 1 time for uncut (without a partner). All types of smithing require and use labor.

Tailoring
Tailoring is a way to improve one's armor. Tailoring increases the AC, and lowers the weight of the armor. The armors that can be tailored are Insight 1, 11, 41, 71, 97 and Warrior's 26, 56 and 86 armors. Pentagram Quest, Nightmare Quest, Master, Grand Master and Medenian armors cannot be tailored or dyed. Tailor legends can go very high, but it takes insane amounts of time to improve them, Tailor (5) is a fairly easy task, and after that it get increasingly difficult. The highest I have ever seen is somewhere between 13-15. Tailoring armors with an another tailor will highly increase your chances of making a better armor. Tailoring legends are needed to craft some warrior armors.

Rogue Master
Once you have gotten to Insight 99, you are required to make a choice to either sub and be a dual-path aisling or master as a pure path. Everyone can master, but whatever the 2nd class you choose is, will be your mastering class. For example a rogue who gets to 99 then masters would be a 'Pure Rogue,' a rogue the gets to 99 then subs to Priest would be a 'Rogue/Priest' and would learn the priest master skills once they are ready to master. If rogue if your ending class when you are ready to master here are the skills, spells and armors you will be able to acquire, as well as your mastering requirements.
Rogue Master Requirements:
1) You must first meet the HP/MP Requirements to master. Rogue must have 4250HP and 2200MP
2) Next you must have the required skills or spells in order to master. Rogues must get the spell Maiden Trap to 90/100 and max the skill Peek 100/100.
3)Next thing you must do in order to master is craft the Fae's Flute at the Fae in East Woods 20-1. To craft it you must have a Copper File and a Smith's Hammer. You can either buy your master set or hunt them in Cthonic Remains 55.
4) Lastly you must have 200000000 exp, and be ready to sacrifice it to master.
Pure Master vs Sub Master:
Subs simply get the skills/spells of 2 classes. Pure Rogue can learn the skill Shadow Figure, which is a slight damage dealing ambush that has no aether and can only be used to ambush adjacent monsters or aislings. The skill is fairly useful to continuously attack from the rear of a monster, but rogues have very weak assails, so its not of that much use in a hunt, very nice for getting through large crowd and avoiding people in the arena. Pure class masters also gain better Grand Master Armors and Weapons which you can see below. Also note that once you become an Archer you lose your master and grand master gear. Pure Archers get a spell called Blinding Bolt, which is simply quite useless in most cases, it it a 4 line, 7 second blinding spell, and it does not work on aislings.

Archer
Rogues 2nd tier class is Archer. To become an archer you must have 250mil exp, 500hp and 500mp ready to be sacrificed. You must also have completed all 4 Creants. When you become an archer you then have the option to hunt ability points (AP) to gain Abilities. At new abilities you can get new armors, skills and spells. When you become an archer you also lose all of your master armors/weapons and grand master armors/weapons. If you are a Pure Archer, you will be able to learn a spell called Blinding Bolt, which is simply quite useless in most cases, it it a 4 line, 7 second blinding spell, and it does not work on aislings. Archers most important spell is Star Arrow, which is a 'meall' light attack spell, which means it hits a target and all surrounding it by 2 spaces in all directions, and as a plus it takes low mp, and has 0 cast lines. Rogues get much stronger as Archers, but once again their job in a hunt will change. When you go archer however, you lose a lot of weapon power, the archer weapons are much weaker then the grand master weapons, and you will probably end up using a Throw Axe to get in your stab skills.
