ok i hate to bring this topic to the surface again but im afraid i did another test and it proved it for me. sitting in med i started casting ioc comlha and saw that it took 104 uses in med to imp. now not more then 20 minutes earlier i was at da-library and it said 50. so i said what the hel and went to wastelands. where i proceeded to cast it again and guess what? it took 52. now i know what everyone is gonna say "oh one spell that doesnt mean anything" but if any priests here would kindly do a test on ioc comlha i would greatly appreciate it.

yeah but thats not the point Amusing. the point is that spells do level fast in hostile areas. or atleast some of them do. iv come to the conclusion that attack spells like srad and sal imp the same in any areas. same goes for curses and im pretty sure spells like fas are the same. but spells like ioc and supports spells like aite and MDC double imp speed in hostile areas.

I've found almost every skill/ spell improves faster in hostil areas.  Have I tested them all?  Nope.  I know assails in the warrior training grounds and medinia w/ chests are 2 times longer than beating on a critter or aisling in a hostile area. I was flat out called a liar in the ao dall section.

Bottom line is...  Test first.  Go to a non - hostile area and improve once...then do it in a hostile area. Improve in the area that takes the least time.

Amusing iv been testing it the past few days on my warrior my wizard and my priest. almost all of my wizard spells imp the same in hostile and non hostile areas. but my priests spells vary. and as for my warrior its common sense to know that skills imp fast in hostile areas. why do you think warriors go to dub castle to imp WB.
