Not so much a quest, but just want to know...

What insight can you get the legend mark "Killed # of Oren Pirates"?

I was told that it was 71, but spoke to the old guy in Oren, and he said that I am not "able bodied enough" i.e not high enough insight.

Anyone know?

99 or master i believe to get the mark. You can do the fountain before then though

HA......see everyone thinks its 99+.........its only 90. my rogue is 97 and he has the legend mark i got it at 90. heh see i knew it wasnt 99.

unless you're a rogue, good luck doing the quest at insight 90.. better to wait until Master and get your Master skills. My rogue is 71 and solos pirates with maiden easy, but i'll be damned if my priest could do any damage without ard cradh.

or if you're a really awesome priest who has perfect stats and maxed ard crahd and maxed deo saighead and maxed beag prahm/prahm.. trap a pirate behind a wall. they don't cast. ard, prahm, deo saighead, prahm, deo saighead, prahm, deo saighead... you get the idea. it only takes a few sets to kill them with ard and maxed DS.

i saw a priest solo a pirate last week with deo saighead only. i was laughing my butt *points to butt* off.....but she still did a pretty good job

If you fas/ard the pirate and prahm it before every hit with int maxed and deo saighead maxed...    it takes about 2 hits only to take him down Grin

yea but she was using only deo saighead and mor cradh. she didnt even have beag pramh. it took her like 20 casts or so.

Well, I am now 97, so will now try bashing a few more pirates, and see whether I get the legend. Have been hunting them since I had Coiled Bolt...long time ago. Using Maiden is easy, makes life so much easier!

Did the fountain thing too, nice addition to hp and mp. Am fortunate to have a friend who's a druid, completely maxed. He did most of the damage, and I just laid a few traps and taunted to finish them off!

no way I could ever do that on my own!

Yes you must be 97 to get the legend marks for killing pirates, though i dont recomend trying to kill a pirate until master if your not a rogue of some type or a sub.
