I was curious about WB, does it level slower when you are a lower level, like 60, because I've been imping for what seems like 8 hours and I think it probably went from 73 to 75 so I'm looking at my screen like What in Danaan's name?? But I'm not sure I don't remember looking at the screen before I left but I sure as hell know that it wasn't too far from 70...
Edit- Okay I exaggerated, but I'd still like an answer.

no it doesnt have anything to do with your characters current level. how ever, when the skills is below 71 it takes 1 hour for it to imp once, after 71 it usually takes about 1:45-2 hours. and after it hits 90 your in for a wait. its one of the only skills that i know of that not only slows down at 71, but continues to slow down as you improve it.

that's smart, Amusing, you should at least try to not-sleephunt in somewhere like WL, it's both faster and easier to get to.

In my opinion, pets have 2 primary reasons:
a) Imping
b) Safety. If you're a non-CR insight war or monk, you can wall yourself into a corner with your pet on one side and the monsters can only attack you from the front (spells not included). Great for karl if you have dibs.
